The son of John Kendrick, born in Bristol, Sept. 8, 1839.
He enlisted 8 from Meredith, Aug. 15, 1862; wounded at
Chancellorsville, May 3, 1863, and discharged for disability,
Sept. 1, 1863. "Register of New Hampshire Soldiers
and Sailors" gives this name as McKendrick.
