(December 1, 2006 – Weirs, NH) The Lake Winnipesaukee Historical Society is offering a special holiday “Buy 3 Get 1 Free” Bingo Gift Certificate Promotion now through December 23rd. Bingo gift certificates are a great addition to any Bingo player’s stocking on Christmas morning.

Printed in a fun holiday motif, gift certificates may be purchased for either the 18-card $20 package or the 12-card $16 package. Buy individually, or take advantage of the incentive to purchase three gift certificates to receive one of the same size package for free. These Bingo gift certificates are good for the Tuesday and Saturday night Bingo games hosted by the Lake Winnipesaukee Historical Society at the Funspot Bingo Hall and have no expiration date.

Gift certificates may be purchased on Tuesday or Saturday nights at the Funspot Bingo Hall with cash or credit card, by visiting or calling the Lake Winnipesaukee Museum in the Weirs at 366-5950, or on-line at www.LakeWinnipesaukeeMuseum.org.

From now through January 6th, Bingo players will be entered to win a free Foxwoods Overnight Getaway with any paid regular game Bingo package on Tuesday and Saturday nights. The trip for two people will include motorcoach transportation on Sunday, January 21st and a one night stay at double occupancy at the Great Cedar Hotel, returning on Monday, January 22nd. The winner will be drawn on Saturday, January 6th at the Bingo Hall during the game.

Although you don’t need to be present to win, if the lucky winner is a player at the Bingo game and present on January 6th, a $200 cash bonus will be awarded that can be used as spending money on the trip.

The Lake Winnipesaukee Historical Society hosts the Bingo games at the Funspot Bingo Hall on Route 3 in the Weirs on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Doors open at 4:00 on Tuesday afternoons and at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday afternoons with an Early Bird Session from 4:30 to 5:30. The regular evening sessions on both evenings begin at 6:45.

Visitors are welcome to come early to enjoy a catered buffet meal from Hart's Turkey Farm Restaurant served at 5:00 p.m. or a drink from the full bar provided by the D.A. Long Tavern.

The Lake Winnipesaukee Historical Society was established to preserve and promote the history of Lake Winnipesaukee and vicinity.
