(September 1, 2006 – Weirs, NH.) Join the Lake Winnipesaukee
Historical Society for an “Afternoon at the Lake”
on Sunday, September 24th from 12 noon to 4 p.m.
On this first full day of autumn, sit back and relax after
a busy summer and enjoy the lake with a Lobster Bake and
Foliage Cruise as a fundraiser to benefit the Lake Winnipesaukee
Historical Society.
Lago Costa Cucina on Meredith Bay will host a Lobster Bake
and Barbecue from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m. Choose from freshly
steamed lobster or barbecue chicken, along with mussels,
corn on the cob and all the fixings.
After the meal, take a private 2 hour cruise and view the
colorful foliage from on board The Manitou, a luxury 52
foot cruise boat. The boat will leave Bay Point at 2:00
p.m. and light refreshments will be served on board.
The price for the Lobster Bake only is $50 ($40 for Lake
Winnipesaukee Historical Society members). The price for
both the Lobster Bake and Foliage Lake Cruise is $100 per
