AN AFTERNOON AT THE LAKE
WITH THE LAKE WINNIPESAUKEE HISTORICAL SOCIETY

(September 1, 2006 – Weirs, NH.) Join the Lake Winnipesaukee Historical Society for an “Afternoon at the Lake” on Sunday, September 24th from 12 noon to 4 p.m.
On this first full day of autumn, sit back and relax after a busy summer and enjoy the lake with a Lobster Bake and Foliage Cruise as a fundraiser to benefit the Lake Winnipesaukee Historical Society.

Lago Costa Cucina on Meredith Bay will host a Lobster Bake and Barbecue from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m. Choose from freshly steamed lobster or barbecue chicken, along with mussels, corn on the cob and all the fixings.

After the meal, take a private 2 hour cruise and view the colorful foliage from on board The Manitou, a luxury 52 foot cruise boat. The boat will leave Bay Point at 2:00 p.m. and light refreshments will be served on board.

The price for the Lobster Bake only is $50 ($40 for Lake Winnipesaukee Historical Society members). The price for both the Lobster Bake and Foliage Lake Cruise is $100 per person ($90 for LWHS members). Seating is limited and advance registration is required.

“An Afternoon at the Lake” is sponsored by the Meredith Village Savings Bank, Beaver World, Lago Costa Cucina, Funspot and The Weirs Times.
