MARCH MAXIMUM BINGO GAME WILL AWARD OVER $10,000

 

March 12, 2008 – Weirs, NH Join the Lake Winnipesaukee Historical Society on Saturday, March 22nd for a high stakes bingo game and win over $10,000 in prizes. Doors will open at 2:00 p.m. at the Funspot Bingo Hall, Rte. 3, Weirs Beach, NH.

The March Maximum Bingo Game offers a $15 9-card package for the afternoon session and a $25 12-card package or $30 18-card for the evening session. Multiple packages may be purchased for either session.

The afternoon session begins at 4:30 p.m. and will include 10 games paying an estimated $140 each and one paying $200. The evening session, which begins at 6:45 p.m., will include 12 games paying an estimated $200 each and two “Winner Takes All” games that may award up to $1,000. The “Carryover Coverall” game is guaranteed to pay $2,000. In addition, there will be an “Early Bird Odd-Even Coverall” game sold separately for $2 per strip with an estimated jackpot of $1,900. All prizes are based on attendance.

Other cash prizes can be won through pull-tab tickets sold at 50 cents each and which pay from $10 to $499.

Visitors are encouraged to come early to get your favorite seat as seating is limited. Doors open at 2:00pm. Enjoy a catered buffet meal from Hart's Turkey Farm Restaurant served at 4:30pm or a drink from the full bar provided by the D.A. Long Tavern. The Funspot Bingo Hall is a non-smoking facility; smoking is allowed outdoors only.

The Lake Winnipesaukee Historical Society hosts bingo games at the Funspot Bingo Hall every Tuesday and Saturday. Proceeds benefit this 501(c)3 nonprofit organization established to preserve and promote the history and heritage of Lake Winnipesaukee and vicinity. Whether you’re 18 or 80, bingo will keep your mind active and agile and is a great exercise to fight the winter brain fog. Bingo is a fun, social activity in a clean and safe environment. LWHS operates the Lake Winnipesaukee Museum on Route 3 in the Weirs section of Laconia, next door to the Funspot Bingo Hall.
